ARES: Vern Leavitt reported that Fred Hollis wants our batteries to be removed. Prescott Grey made a motion to approve spending up to $200 for plastic boxes and a charging system for the batteries. The motion PASSED.
Charter School: Jon Spargo reported that there are now 6 students in his radio class, 4 are preparing for their technician license and 2 for general. The two kids that have Technician Class Licenses are helping the others. Jon wants to get permission to hold the examination at the school on Saturday, May 7 and be able to invite others in the community to take the exam also. Jon will be gone April 14-29. A motion to pay the testing fees of $90 for the six students was PASSED.
LEPC: Doug May reported that the February 10 meeting of the LEPC will deal with our response to hazardous materials incidents. On Monday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 pm a special LEPC meeting will be held to see what lessons we can learn from our responses to the snow, cold and low gas pressure events of February 1-6. All government and business entities, and individuals are urged to attend.

Dave Finley and Howard Peavey each paid $15 for their dues.

Following the business meeting Dave Johnson brought in an old (ca. 1980s) spectrum analyzer from AT&T. Bill Brundage demonstrated the analyzer using a portable disc cone antenna. Demonstration concluded at 8:30 pm.
