There was some discussion regarding
participation on interoperative incidents.
A Thank You was received for our work on the Chili
Harvest Triathlon.
Approval of Minutes: Minutes
of the last meeting approved as posted.
Treasurer’s report: Treasurers report
submitted and approved.
Reports: ARES/LEPC - Jon Spargo not available to
report. Bear reported that the LEPC work meeting had been cancelled, but the
plan is closer to submission.
Old Business:
Highway cleanup discussed and tabled.
Solar Panels - pending information from Jon &
Glenn
New Business:
Hamfest Planning continued. Friday dinner to be at
the San Miguel Mission recreation room; although they are requiring
insurance. The cost of the insurance will be included in the cost of the
dinner provided by Socorro Fire Dept. Directions will be talked in and in
the flyer. VE session will be taken over by Al Braun with help from Jim
& Seth. Forums to be arranged by Jon Spargo and Bill Brundage. Vendors
were discussed, prizes were determined, and logistics arranged. A silent
Auction is planned, to be coordinated by Spargo. Vern & Bear will
oversee the Swap Fest.
Bear notified the City Attorney of the change in our
Secretarial position.
There was some discussion regarding insurance for
the club, Bill Brundage will research and report.
Due to tax requirements of the 501c3 status of the
club, an electronic filing may be required annually.
