The Socorro County ARES group meets for the NM Section ARES & RACES HF net
at 01:00 UTC (19:00 hrs MDT)
on the first and third Sundays of each month in the Socorro County EOC, 198
Neel St. The net provides a forum for the discussion of Amateur
Radio support of all types of emergency communications including (but not
limited to) MARS, SAR, CAP, public service events. The net commences
at 1930 MDT, immediately following the NM Roadrunner Traffic Net. All
stations are invited to check into the net. The purpose of Socorro ARES participation is for training and
to establish emergency procedures in compliance with our agreement with
Socorro County.
Gatherings, gatherings
SARA meetings are held, beginning at 1930 hrs local on the second Wednesday of each
month (except December) in the Socorro
County Emergency Operations Center, 198 Neel Ave. (old BLM building
next to Basker Medical building). Use front door turn right go to the back

Everyone is invited to coffee every Saturday ~8:00 to 9:30 hrs at El Camino on Saturday mornings.
